These are both completely unrelated, but I'm just going to go for it anyway.
One of my mom's friends (she has no daughters unfortunately) bought me this book on a whim last week. It's not really something I would typically read, however I have become completely obsessed with it, religiously reading it every chance I get. Though CoCo, who I discovered was actually named Gabrielle (!!!), lived quite the dramatic life she really is a woman with a strength and voice I aspire to be. I now know that it's literally impossible for anyone to claim that what they wear was not a result of the styles of Chanel - the woman practically invented jersey which is all that "american sportswear" is. I will forever bow down to Ms. Chanel as one of my biggest heroes of all time. Go read this book.
I am just overall loving this fish eye photo from Paris FW. It's actually cold in most places still and I tend to forget that while I'm tanning on my balcony every afternoon. I am still in need of a cape, though I wont be able to use it for probably 6 months, and both of these ladies seem to have the cape-wearing technique down to an art.
Goodbye now...
